The Word Vault has definitions for thousands of English words, ranging from the mundane like street to the exotic like superabundance or meliorism. All viewed words are saved in a separate list and then available for testing your memory.

I try to watch TV shows in original and with English subtitles. Often in the dialogues of the characters I come across words that I do not know, and I press pause, open Google Translate, translate the word and return to viewing. This list of actions becomes more complicated if I do not know the definition of a word in Russian.

In it, you need to choose the number of words - the duration of the test depends on this - and remember the words, based on their definitions. Saved words can be annotated, but I didn't see much point in this functionality.
