Simple and easy to use notes with Markdown support, password protection and cloud sync.

The new Tempad notes are aimed at fans of minimalism and simplicity. The application was created with great attention to detail and should appeal to everyone who gravitates towards laconic but functional tools.

Externally, Tempad is similar to the standard "Notes" in macOS, but this is only at first glance. Upon closer inspection, you will notice a few differences. The main one is support for simplified Markdown markup, which allows you to quickly create texts with basic formatting, which, if necessary, can be easily exported to a document of any format.

Subheadings, lists, blocks with code, quotes and syntax highlighting - this is a full-fledged text editor that can be put on a par with iA Writer and other similar applications focused on quiet work with text.

Management of notes in Tempad is carried out through the side menu, in which they are displayed in the form of a list: pinned notes at the top, below - all the rest. To protect an important note with a password, you need to click on the icon with three dots, and then on the corresponding button. The search field is also located here in the sidebar.

The mobile version of Tempad has the same features as the desktop one. Notes are instantly synced via Google Drive and appear on all your devices. In the next updates, support for Dropbox and iCloud will be added.

In addition, the developers are planning several new features that will be added taking into account the wishes of users. Among them - focus mode, as in iA Writer, Byword and other Markdown-editors, history of changes in documents, as well as formatting and theme settings.

The disadvantages of Tempad include the lack of tags and folders, the need for which will be acutely felt if you have a lot of notes, as well as support for hotkeys for formatting. Personally, I would also like the option to switch to the standard text cursor - the animation of the inline is very beautiful, but it distracts a little from work.
