Preparation

Start by preparing the curd. Give preference to a product that is not too dry and fine-grained. If there is a lot of whey in the curd, squeeze it out in a colander or cheesecloth.

Combine cottage cheese, egg and honey together. The main thing here is to make the mass as homogeneous as possible, more reminiscent of cream cheese in consistency. A powerful stationary blender or a small submersible blender can easily cope with this task.

Add the coconut flakes and stir. The mass should stick well together, but not dry.
