An interval workout from yoga teacher Emily Chen works your core muscles well and includes movements to develop back and shoulder mobility.

Set a timer and do each exercise for 45 seconds, and rest the rest of the minute. If it involves working in two directions, do 23 seconds each.

The workout consists of five exercises:

  1. Twisting on all fours.
  2. Criss-cross with straight legs.
  3. Butterfly twists (how to do them, see the video below).
  4. Lifts of the pelvis.
  5. Ascents to the "candle".

You can perform this complex as an independent workout and, if desired, increase the number of circles to 2-3. Or include it in your warm-up or do it after the main exercises.
