All the information you need in one place.
Journal is a web-based note-taking service with useful content organization and search capabilities. Thanks to them, the information you need will always be at your fingertips.
The working area of the platform includes three main sections. Two of them do not need a description: Activity displays your recent activities, and Schedule displays upcoming events from Google Calendar.
The third section of Spaces deserves special attention: it is with it that you will interact most. It contains the so-called spaces for your projects and ideas. For example, you can create a Reading space and add various works to it.
An emoji serves as a space icon, and a short description can be added under the title. The space can be composed of text entries, links, and content from other services tied to the Journal, such as Dropbox, Pocket, or Slack. You can organize your content however you like by adding subheadings, dragging and dropping cards, and transferring thoughts from one space to another.
Through the search engine, you can quickly find everything you need, and in any attached application. For example, just enter in evernote to search only in Evernote. You can also specify what kind of content you need, such as a file, link or letter. So far, however, the search is not friendly with the Cyrillic alphabet.
Journal is in early access stage: to try out the service, you will have to wait in line. Click on the Get early access button on the site, answer a couple of questions, and after a while you will receive an invitation in your mail. In addition, the developers promise to release applications for macOS and iOS, as well as an extension for Chrome.
