Yes and no. My experiment did not give me the answers I was hoping to get. But he taught me a lot. Here's what you need to know before you, too, decide to wake up at four in the morning.

It will be much easier for you if you are used to getting up early

I prefer to get up early and go to bed early. Therefore, this experiment was not so difficult for me. I know that I am most productive in the morning and that it is easier for me to focus on work immediately after waking up, rather than before bed.

Want more hours in your day, but know you are more productive in the evenings? Then do not get up very early, but finish your business in the evening.

You will need a to-do list

One incident taught me that a to-do list is essential for getting up early. One day my boyfriend decided to get up at four in the morning with me. After waking up, I immediately went to work. And he woke up and lay back down again. He hadn't planned anything in advance for this time, so he decided it would be best to spend it in bed.

A to-do list helps you focus on important tasks. Maybe you need to do exercises in the morning as directed by your doctor? Or are you going to finish your presentation in the morning for work? Need to wash the dishes left over from the evening? Choose 3-4 things to do in the morning every day.

It's safe to say that after completing this experiment, I did not become more successful. Most likely, you are unlikely to succeed either. However, the experiment has shown the importance of time management.

It's not enough just to give yourself an extra hour a day. It is important what you spend this hour on.

By getting up early, I could do many different things. After that, during the working day, my concentration on other tasks increased and I did not feel overwhelmed.
