Google introduced an updated Gmail a few months ago. It was then that support for add-ons from third-party developers appeared in this mail service. Dropbox today announced a proprietary solution that seamlessly integrates the two services.

The new add-on will help you quickly save any attachments from emails to your Dropbox storage. To do this, you need to click on the add-on button on the sidebar of Gmail, after which all the files from the currently viewed correspondence will appear in front of you. You just have to select a folder in the online storage where they will be uploaded.

The new add-on works in any browser as well as the Android Gmail app. A little later, the developers promise to add the ability to conveniently send files. In the meantime, for this it is better to use a special extension for the Chrome browser, about which we wrote earlier.
