Such a fragrant and tasty composition will be a wonderful gift for any occasion.
Choose fruit
Before you start creating a bouquet, decide on the color scheme. Compositions with 2-3 colors look the most organic.
Any fruit can be used for the bouquet. Look for beautiful, firm, unripe fruits without any damage. Juicy can flow.
Everything selected must be washed and wiped thoroughly to remove moisture.
Collect the rest of the materials
For fastening you need wooden skewers. Their ideal length is 30 cm, at least 25 cm. If you use short ones, it will be very difficult to assemble a bouquet. Buy more skewers, since you will need several pieces for one fruit.
You also need to prepare scotch tape, scissors, wrapping paper, and tape or twine. Select the paper to match the color scheme of the bouquet. These are all easy to find in craft stores.
You may need a regular knife and cling film - we'll talk about this below. Fruits should be supplemented with decorative or live greens. And dried fruits, berries, vegetables, flowers, sweets and various themed decorations are also added to the bouquet.
Place fruits and other items on skewers
First, think about how the composition will look roughly.
Insert skewers into each fruit at some distance from each other, without piercing through. If the fruit is small, one stick will be enough. For larger ones, use at least 2-3 skewers.
Make sure the fruit fits snugly on the skewers. To do this, shake the fruit by holding it by the sticks stuck in it. If it does not fly off, then everything is in order. Some people use so many skewers for reliability so that the fruit can easily stand on its "legs".
By the way, fruits for a bouquet can be cut. All citrus fruits, kiwi and pomegranates look very beautiful. You can split them in half, or just cut the top off, exposing the bright flesh. And so that the fruits do not wind up, wrap the surface very tightly with cling film. You can cover a piece already on the skewers:
Or, first wrap the fruit in plastic, and then pierce it:
Other items also need to be prepared for collecting the bouquet. You just need to insert skewers into vegetables or large berries. If you want to take the berries not by the piece, but in a bunch, glue them to the stick with tape for the branches:
Small twigs with greens can be wrapped with tape or with tape, as here:
To add fresh flowers to a bouquet, you will need special extension cords that will keep them fresh. They are sold in flower shops. Cut off the flower, fill the flask with water, close it and insert the plant into it.
Walnuts are also planted on sticks. On one edge, they have a soft place into which a skewer sticks quite easily:
If the bouquet contains inedible components, such as cones or some other decorative elements, they can be glued to the sticks with a glue gun.
Collect a bouquet of fruits
You can arrange fruits and other elements in different ways. For example, place the largest or brightest fruit in the center. If the fruits are the same size, arrange them so that the different colors are evenly distributed throughout the bouquet. It all depends on your imagination.
Apply the rest to the central fruit in turn, forming a composition.
When all the fruits and other elements are collected, fix the skewers with several layers of tape.
Make sure that the bouquet does not disintegrate. For reliability, you can walk closer to the fruit with scotch tape.
If it is inconvenient for you to glue the whole bouquet at once, connect the elements gradually, wrapping them with tape each time.
Place small details, leaves, flowers where you can see gaps and skewers between fruits.
Pack the bouquet
The fruity bouquet is packaged in the same way as a regular floral bouquet.
Cut the paper into several rectangles. Lay the bouquet diagonally over one of them and fold the bottom over. Additionally, you can glue it with tape.
Then place the bouquet on another rectangle of paper and wrap the bottom again.
Add one or two more layers of packaging. Place it so that the bouquet is framed by the paper corners.
If desired, tape the paper to the bottom. Tie up the bouquet with twine or ribbon that matches the color scheme of the composition.
