How to recover files deleted in iCloud

I already got the hang of using iCloud as my primary cloud storage. The service is not very functional, but I don't need much. The only thing I'm afraid of is accidental deletion of files, as they are often stored there without copies in other places. It turns out that files deleted in iCloud Drive, including contacts and calendars, can be recovered.

Here's what to do:

1. Open up.
2. Sign in with your account and go to iCloud Drive.

3. Click on the name in the upper right corner and select "iCloud Settings".

   

4. At the bottom of the page there will be three options: "Restore Files", "Restore Contacts", "Restore Calendars and Reminders".

5. Select the one you want and then select the data you want to recover.

   

To the right of the deleted files, the time remaining until they are permanently deleted is shown. After this period, it will be impossible to restore the files. From which device the files were deleted, it does not matter - they will all be located here. As for calendars and contacts, they are restored from saved archives, which are automatically created at a specific interval.
