How to enable night mode in Google apps on Android

Youtube

Among Google applications, YouTube was one of the first to receive Night Mode. You can enable it like this:

1. Open your profile settings by tapping on your avatar in the upper right corner of the app.
2. Click on "Settings" with a gear icon.
3. Select "General".
4. Click on the switch of the item "Night mode".

Chrome

Chrome supports dark themes. True, it can only function in read mode.

1. Scroll up and down the page, and a panel with a "Simplified View" button will appear at the bottom of the screen. Touch it.
2. In "Simplified View", open the menu by clicking on the three-dot icon and click on "Appearance".
3. Select the "Dark" option. Now all articles in reading mode will be displayed in an easy-to-view form at night.

Night mode in Google Maps, unfortunately, is only available in navigator mode. You can activate it like this:

4. Scroll down to the Map Display section and activate the Night color scheme.
