First, you add an action to the program that you want to perform on certain days of the week. In the future, put marks on the timeline each time it is done. By doing this regularly, you will see progress as a continuous chain of actions performed. But if you skip the days, then there will be gaps in it.
Using Day by Day, you can see an interesting psychological effect: you will be content to look at long continuous chains and hate gaps in them. It is this schematic representation of progress or lack of it that can become your additional source of motivation.
When adding a new habit, you can choose the days of the week, an icon and type a name for it: for example, "Morning gymnastics" or "Learning English".
