How to remove permanent marker from any surface

A permanent marker may not be all that permanent if you know how to erase it correctly.

Leather

Sunscreen or repellent will help. Apply a little of the product to the skin, rub. If the stain has not completely disappeared, leave the cream on for a few minutes.

clothing

The permanent marker can be wiped off clothing with any hand sanitizer. To do this, the stain must be properly moistened with antibacterial gel and lightly rubbed with a brush.

Walls

If there is no wallpaper on the walls, then the marks are removed with toothpaste or hairspray. Just apply them on the stain, wait a couple of minutes and rinse. If the stain turns out to be on the wallpaper, then in this case the marker will no longer be able to wipe off.

Wood

If you have drawn something on a wooden object with a marker, then you can remove such a drawing using a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. If that doesn't work, pour more rubbing alcohol onto the stain.

Carpet

Cover the stain with white vinegar, scrub it with a soft brush after a few minutes, then wash off the vinegar with water.

Ceramics or glass

A mixture of baking soda and toothpaste in equal proportions will help get rid of marker marks on items made from these materials.
