How to find out your motherboard model in Windows
1. By built-in tools
You can view information about the motherboard and other parts of your Windows computer in the System Information utility. To run it, use the Win + R keys, enter the msinfo32 command in the window that appears and press Enter. The screen will display a summary of the PC, including information about the manufacturer and model of the motherboard, as well as the characteristics of the processor.
Using the navigation bar on the left, you can view information about other components. For example, if you expand the section "Components" → "Storage Devices" → "Disks", the screen will display the model number and other information about the installed drive, be it a hard drive or SSD.
The System Information utility may not recognize some components and display “Unknown” instead of the information you need. In this case, third-party programs will help.
