Three ways for different platforms - Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS.

What is the easiest way to transfer files between your devices on different platforms (macOS, Android, Windows) on the same Wi-Fi network?"

There are at least three ways.
The first method is the simplest: you can simply use the Snapdrop web application. You don't need to install anything - just open Snapdrop on both devices in the browser, making sure that they are connected to the same local network, and specify which files to transfer. Fast and easy.
The service has an alternative, ShareDrop, which is no different from it - you can choose any option. Both web applications work in mobile browsers as well.
The second method will require a little setup, but it is also simple. Install the Resilio Sync program, which can synchronize files and folders using the BitTorrent protocol. For home use, the stripped-down free version is quite enough.
Add the folder you want to sync to Resilio Sync, then email the key to it to another device. Or scan the QR code. Now you can view the contents of the folder from another computer and exchange files through it.
Finally, the third way is to create a shared folder. It is more complex, but more versatile and is best suited if you need to exchange files regularly. No need to install third-party applications - just dig into the settings of the operating system.
You can find out how to open access to your folders and exchange data over a local network in our guide.
If you want to view shared folders on your computer from mobile devices, install X ‑ plore File Manager for Android or FE File Explorer for iOS.
