Among them, for example, the Blind Witch from the fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel", the Green Witch Zelena from "The Wizard of Oz" and even Maleficent, Ursula and Cruella. The last three are known to many from Disney film adaptations, but here their fate turns out to be more confusing and even tragic.

The series was preceded by full-length films, the first of which was released in 2008. The Hallmark Channel then decided to relaunch the story as a serial show. Here, viewers will not find any potions, spells and battles with monsters - magic serves only as a background for the story of relationships between people, friendship, love and mutual assistance.
