Even in the most beloved TV series, there are heroes that are incredibly annoying. Lifehacker's team has shared a personal hate list. Caution: Spoilers!

1. Arya Stark

Arya Stark pisses me off the most. Because all GOT characters have clear story arcs, goals and aspirations. They are, of course, non-linear, but they see understandable characters with logical implementation (if suddenly they are not killed by Martin). And the girl has not only a name, but also a normally prescribed motivation.

Arya could return to her family a thousand times, help other heroes, finally learn to embroider, and that's all. But her character is driven by youthful maximalism (“I can do everything myself”), the desire to take revenge (bend my fingers) and something else incomprehensible (make big eyes).

Arya is interesting, but very filler. I hope that in the last season the heroine will be revealed and the audience will be torn apart by some kind of steep escalation.

Arya, stop wasting screen time. You are cool. Kill everyone!

I don't like disloyal and inflexible characters. Arya is like that. She never tries to put herself in the shoes of others, such as her own sister or Dog.

2. Junella

I am pissed off by that religious fan who kept saying "Confess!" ("Repent!"). I still have this "confession" in my head. Well, straight enrages. In fact, the heroine's name is Junella and she is a septa, a devoted follower of His Sparrow. She visited Cersei Lannister and Margaery Tyrell in prison and urged them to repent of their sins.

Steadfastness is clearly Unella's strongest trait. She is also rude, constantly angry, and her face is a brick. Well, she would just come and demand to repent … In my understanding, nuns should be humble and take care of everyone, no matter how much a person is brought to the dark side. But Junella is a demon in a skirt. She doesn't just demand repentance, she takes pleasure - even bliss - from the suffering of others. What an abomination!

3. Theon Greyjoy

4. Jon Snow

He is cowardly and indecisive, does not know how to strategize and manage, all the time he tries to be heroic, but in the end he only substitutes those who love him.

At the end of the seventh season, the brave uncle Benjen Stark gives John a horse so that his nephew escapes from the crowd of the dead, and heroically dies. Even earlier, due to Snow's indecision, the wild Ygritte dies - the one who fell in love with him and called the bastard to join the squad behind the wall. The hero could not make a choice, lost the girl's respect, but not her love: if during the capture of the Black Castle Ygritte had not regretted the unlucky John and had not left him alive, she would have been able to dodge the enemy arrow.

This is some kind of apotheosis of powerlessness: Snow cannot defeat neither the White Walkers, nor Cersei, nor Ramsey - the latter is eventually devoured by his own hungry dogs. When John punches himself in the chest in front of Sansa, claiming that he will protect her, the sister can only cut off: "No one will protect anyone."

It’s not so much the character itself that’s annoying, but rather its centrality in the show. John is not made more interesting by the mysterious story of his birth, his connection with the first lady of Game of Thrones, Daenerys, or the resurrection after death - we have already seen this in the Bible. Snow prophesies an iron throne, and I would not want such a king: while other characters are aiming at building an empire, John's maximum is to build a house edge during another failure.

5. Brandon Stark

My least favorite character is Brandon Stark. In madness, he competes with John: one knows nothing, the other knows everything. But Lord Snow is at least interesting to watch. That only the battle of the bastards is worth. And Bran got a superpower to touch trees, and for this poor Mira Reed drags him on half of the series.

But most of all I hated him after hold the door. I know that he is a key character, let's see what will happen to him in the new last (now I'll pay off) season. Maybe I'll change my point of view.

6. Grigor Clegan

But Grigor Cleganu (he is just the Mountain) seemed to have forgotten to come up with a character. He is evil and cruel, and his only goal is to be angry and cruel. At the first appearance on the screen, they tell how he burned his brother's face for a minor offense. He chops off the head of a horse, kills people, rapes, tortures. Why? Just because he's evil. The only thing missing is the explanation that at sunset he drowns the kittens.

Preparing for a duel, for some reason, one after another, he kills almost defenseless slaves. There is no logic in this training, you can just as well stick a sword in a haystack. Against the background of complex characters and intrigues, Horus annoys with its meaninglessness. It's like he exists just to show more violence on the screen. It is even played by different actors - no one remembers it anyway. Therefore, after the transformation, the Mountain begins to look more logical. The hero's thought process was still not observed.

7. Joffrey Baratheon

Despite the fact that Joffrey died at the beginning of the fourth season, for me he will still remain the most annoying character in the entire history of the series. A spoiled and cowardly sadist with a grin that never leaves his disgusting face. I hate it. How infuriated him by the constant mockery and stupid antics!

I’m ashamed to admit it, but I breathed a sigh of relief when he turned blue and convulsed as he tasted the poisoned wine.

8. Margaery Tyrell

Margaery Tyrell only from the outside seems like a pretty creature: from the inside she is a real monster. Her voice makes me twist. Well, if you still look at the screen and see with what courteous look she pronounces every word, you generally want to leave the planet.

Tyrell is so two-faced and arrogant that it is completely unclear how others can even be near her. And when you watch her from the side, you feel almost like a god: you, unlike everyone on the other side of the screen, understand that her every word and every deed is clearly verified and aimed at obtaining benefits.

In general, Cersei, who seems to be impossible not to hate, is a tough aunt. She at least does not hide who she is. When Cersei finally blew up this nasty creature, I was ready to open a bottle of the most expensive whiskey I have. True, I don't have that.

9. Lisa Arryn

10. Ned Stark

At first, I seriously thought that Sansa and Robb Starkey pissed me off. Sansa - for believing Cersei and, because of childhood romantic dreams, brought her father to death. At first, Robb seemed like a promising hero, and everything went well as long as he listened to his mother. But he didn't listen once and got the Red Wedding - an event that became famous for its cruelty far beyond the GoT universe.

After a while, I realized that Sansa and Robb were not so much to blame for their mistakes. Their stupid actions are the sad result of the upbringing of Ned Stark, whose integrity and idealism led to the death of almost the entire family.

He poisoned the love of his wife with the secret of the origin of Jon Snow (Catelyn was tormented by jealousy for John's unknown mother, and, as we later learned, completely in vain). The children were raised in a strange mixture of severity and chivalry. It was an extremely ill-considered decision to entrust the office of the king's hand to such a person. By some miracle, Ned managed to unearth Joffrey's origin story (I suspect many courtiers were aware of this secret, but they were well aware of the dangers of such knowledge and kept their mouths shut). Further - a completely helpless confrontation with Cersei, several predictable betrayals, and now Ned himself goes to the chopping block, the family is outlawed, and the whole of Westeros is engulfed in a bloody meat grinder.
