How to draw a rocket with markers
What is needed
- Paper;
- felt-tip pens.
How to draw
Draw the body of the rocket with a black felt-tip pen. In shape, it resembles a rectangle with a sharpness at the top.
Make an arc at an angle, at the bottom of the body - a strip. Draw a circle to represent the porthole. Inside the shape, sketch out another one, but smaller. Add leaf-like tail wings.
Draw a long but narrow rectangle under the body. Divide it with vertical lines. You will get a nozzle. Sketch out the fire. It resembles an inverted tulip bud.
Paint over the rocket body with a gray felt-tip pen. Use red for the fenders, outside window, stripe and head fairing.
Turn the fire orange. For the inside of the porthole, a blue or cyan shade is suitable.

How to draw a rocket with a marker
What is needed
- Paper;
- marker.
How to draw
Outline the rocket body. It looks like a slanted leaf. Draw a narrow, long rectangle at the bottom of the shape. Under it is a wide short one.
Draw an arc to indicate the head fairing at the top of the structure. Draw the tail wings. They should look like pointed horns.
Outline a round porthole. Under the rocket, make several oblique lines of different lengths.

How to draw a rocket with paints
What is needed
- Paper;
- simple pencil;
- gouache;
- palette;
- marker;
- brushes.
How to draw
Make an arc in the lower left corner to outline a portion of the earth. Draw a slanting line in the middle of the sheet. It will help portray a rocket. Draw an oval at the tip of the blank.
Draw a trapezoidal nozzle under the oval. Use a broken line to show the flames that are bursting out.
From the top tip of the construction line, extend two curved lines to the sides of the oval. You get the rocket body. Smoothly outline the triangular wings.
Make a strip at the bottom of the rocket. Show round porthole. Mark several planets in the background.
Cover the background at the bottom of the drawing with black gouache. Without rinsing the brush, scoop up the blue paint. Add this shade to the left of the rocket. Use purple for the corner of the leaf on the right. Try not to go beyond the contours of the pencil sketch.
Apply massive purple strokes on dried black areas. Rinse the brush and then scoop some white paint onto it. Shake the instrument over the paper. You will get small stars.
Paint the ground with blue gouache. Make uneven spots with green paint. Add a yellow tint if desired.
Paint over the rest of the planets. In the example, they are used in orange, pink, blue, and green. Make the rocket body white and the oval and nozzle gray.
Paint the outline of the flame with yellow paint. Add red strokes on one side of the detail and white on the other. Make the rocket wings and fairing red.
Paint the porthole black. Add oblique white strokes to it. The border of the strip in the example is green. If you want to write something on the rocket with a marker, wait for the gouache to dry.
On the inside of the wings, paint brown strokes, on the outer and head fairing - white. Put some dots at the bottom of the sheet. Release curved lines from them. Comets will turn out.

How to draw a rocket with pastels
What is needed
- Square sheet of paper;
- masking tape;
- ruler;
- felt-tip pen;
- simple pencil;
- oil pastels;
- napkin;
- scissors;
- brush;
- white gouache or acrylic paint;
- black pastel pencil.
How to draw
Unfold the piece of paper so that it becomes a diamond. Secure it to the table with masking tape. Use a ruler to draw a line from the top corner to the bottom.
Take a felt-tip pen and outline the rocket body in the upper corner of the sheet. It looks like an oval with a pointed tip on top. Add a trapezoidal nozzle and tail wings that resemble curved triangles.
Extend two short, curved lines downward from the nozzle, and wavy lines from their tips. This is a fiery jet escaping from a rocket.
Tape the space between the curved lines for now. Use scissors to adjust the material to the desired shape. Paint over the upper part of the background next to the rocket with blue pastels, and the lower part with blue. Blend with a napkin. You can climb over the rocket outline.
Step back about a centimeter from the wavy line. Make a light yellow curved strip with jagged edges.
Continue adding stripes. Change the shades so that each next one is richer. Mark red flames in the corner of the sheet. They reach towards the rocket. Rub the pastels with a napkin to make the transitions smoother.
Add some black to the top and bottom corners, and then blend it. Paint over the rocket with a pastel pencil. Remove the masking tape located between the lines.
Use acrylic paint or gouache to paint a lot of white dots on a blue background. This is how you label the stars. Separate the rocket body from the wings with white pastel, then the drawing will turn out to be more voluminous. Remove the tape around the edges of the sheet.

How to draw a rocket with colored pencils
What is needed
- Paper;
- simple pencil;
- eraser;
- black pen or liner;
- colour pencils.
How to draw
Draw a tilted line with a simple pencil. Place a leaf-like shape on it. This is the rocket body. Draw a circle to indicate the porthole. Inside it, make another one, but smaller.
Draw two arcs under the head fairing. There will be rivets between them. Mark two curved strips underneath the bottom of the structure.
Show the curved wings on the sides of the rocket. On the head fairing, mark the spire with the ball.
Add three elongated rectangles with arcs at the tips to the bottom of the rocket. This is a nozzle. Use zigzag lines to draw fire.
Circle the drawing with a black pen or liner. Place dots on the window frame, draw two lines on the sides of the fire. Erase the auxiliary sketch. Paint over the rocket body with a blue pencil. Notice that the detail is brighter at the edges, and the tint gets paler towards the center.
Make the head fairing, wings and spire tip red. Use gray for the nozzle, porthole frame, rivet strip and spire. Add a yellow tint to the bottom of the rocket body.
To make the fire brighter, paint over it with orange and yellow pencils. Shade the rivets.
With a pen or a liner, sketch out a few stars and planets in the background. Paint over the details with whatever colors you like.
