In fact, no special conditions are needed to change the usual cocktails to their non-alcoholic counterparts. They are just as tasty (maybe even tastier), and I sincerely hope that you enjoy the fact of hanging out with friends, and not because you have a fair amount of degrees in your glass. For easy switching to a non-alcoholic format, start with popular cocktails.

Mojito

Mojito

Ingredients (1 serving):

  • 10-15 mint leaves (it is better if it is peppermint, with a strong menthol flavor);
  • ½ lime;
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar;
  • 200 ml soda (can be replaced with Sprite or Schweppes);
  • ice.

Preparation

Cut the lime into quarters, put a quarter in a glass, add sugar and mint leaves there, rub gently, trying to squeeze out rather than chop the ingredients (small pieces of leaves and lime can get stuck in the straw). Add ice and cover all ingredients with soda. Garnish the glass with the remaining lime quarter and a sprig of mint. Serve with a cocktail straw. Perfectly refreshes.

Apple mulled wine (grape)

Ingredients (5 servings):

  • 1 liter of apple or grape juice;
  • 100 ml of water;
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons of orange zest;
  • 2 tablespoons of raisins;
  • 1 apple;
  • 2 cinnamon sticks;
  • 3-4 carnation buds;
  • 4–5 peas of allspice (white) pepper;
  • a pinch of grated nutmeg;
  • a pinch of ground ginger;
  • sugar or honey to taste.

Preparation

Pour juice and water into a small enamel saucepan, put on fire. Add all the spices, raisins and thinly sliced apple. Add sugar or honey if desired. Heat the drink, but do not boil! As soon as bubbles appear on the surface, remove the pan from the heat, cover and let it brew for 15–20 minutes for the spice aroma to develop. It is advisable to strain mulled wine before using. The drink is indispensable for cold autumn evenings and a large company (for a company I advise you to immediately cook a double portion). Serve Hot!

  • 2 oranges;
  • ⅓ glasses of sugar;
  • 100 g cranberries (fresh or frozen);
  • mint to taste.

Preparation

In an enamel saucepan, combine juices, add water and spices, bring to a boil over high heat. Cook over moderate heat for another 5 minutes. Pour hot punch into glass mugs, throw a few cranberries into each, garnish with orange wedges and mint leaves.

Remember that sober people are more sensitive to smell and taste, so experimenting with the ratio of ingredients in non-alcoholic cocktails is best left for later, when the basic recipe has been well studied. Try at least one month to meet with friends exclusively in a sober format, I'm sure everyone will remember this month one way or another.;)
