One move - and in a couple of seconds the loaded page is waiting for you to read it.
Clicking on a link in Safari on iOS does one of two things. Either you wait for the page to load, or waste precious seconds holding your finger on the screen for the link to open in the background tab. It turns out that there is a third, more convenient option, which has been hidden from the eyes of users for almost a year.
To open a link in a new tab, just tap on it with two fingers at the same time. By default, Safari will immediately show this tab, but you can make it load in the background. To do this, go to your phone settings, open the Safari section, click on "Links" and select "In background."
The next time you read an article on your phone and stumble upon an interesting link, just tap it with two fingers and read on. The already loaded page will be waiting for you in another tab.
