The action takes place after the events of the second full-length cartoon about Aladdin "Return of Jafar". Russian-speaking viewers did not notice the difference, but the Americans were partly disappointed with the Return of Jafar and the animated series. Indeed, in the first "Aladdin" Genie was voiced by the famous Robin Williams, but then he was replaced by Dan Castellaneta.

16. Oh, these kids

The plot of this animated series clearly parodies traditional comic book stories, most notably Batman. And the presence in the plot of the pilot of the Zigzag makes one think that the action takes place in the same world as in the famous "Duck Tales".
