How to make an octopus or a snail
This octopus will work even for those who are just starting to sculpt from plasticine. It doesn't take more than 20 minutes to create a figurine.
What is needed
- Plasticine;
- sculpting surface.
How to do
From purple plasticine, make seven small balls of the same size. Roll them into sausages. For each, form a wide and narrow tip. Fold the blanks with an asterisk. These are tentacles.
Blind a massive ball, slightly flattened on the sides. Place it on the craft and press down. Give the tentacles a wave-like shape to make the octopus look livelier.
Make two tiny balls of white plasticine, then flatten them and attach them to the octopus's head. These are the eyes. The small pink arc in the example is a smile. Use black dots to mark the pupils. Decorate the tentacles and the rest of the body with round yellow details.

How to do
Roll three massive balls for leaves out of green plasticine. Make another shape, but small. Squeeze this ball with your fingers to make a flat circle.
Pull each of the other balls from both sides to make volumetric rhombuses. Flatten the blanks, and then use a stack to draw veins on each.
Secure the leaves to a flat piece. Roll a ball out of yellow plasticine - this is the core of the flower. Fix it to the workpiece.
Blind six spherical purple petals. These details are slightly larger than the core. Place them on the craft.

How to make a cat or other animals
The funny cat will appeal to both adults and children.
What is needed
- Plasticine;
- sculpting surface;
- stack;
- toothpick.
How to do
Form an oval out of orange plasticine. The size depends on how big you want to make the cat. Bend the shape so that it looks like a beanbag chair. Place the workpiece on the sculpting surface and press down lightly.
Make four small balls. Roll them into cones with beveled tops. These are paws. Fix them on the lower torso.
The tail of the animal is a small curved sausage, the ears are small triangles. Blind a ball for the muzzle. Attach it to the top of the craft and smooth the seam with your fingers. Mark the nose with a flat black dot. Prepare eye sockets.
The cat's eyes are white flattened balls with black dots. Mark the claws with tiny white circles - there are three parts on each paw. Stack a hole for the mouth. Use a toothpick to draw lines on the body to show the texture of the coat.

How to make a bird
The bird figurine is assembled from the simplest parts, and it looks charming.
What is needed

How to do
Make two legs out of yellow plasticine - each consists of three small ovals connected together. Roll a massive red body circle. Place the figure on the paw-pieces and press down slightly.
From a yellow material, mold a volumetric detail that looks like a drop. Flatten it a little and fasten it with a narrow tip on the back of the body. You will get a tail. Make similar shapes in blue. They should be slightly smaller than the tail. Clip them to the sides to indicate the wings.
The head in the example is a blue ball. The beak consists of two volumetric triangles linked together at the bases.
Blind three volumetric triangles from red plasticine. Connect the ends of the shapes to form a fan. Attach the piece to the bird's head to show the crest. Mark the eyes with white flat circles, pupils with small black dots. Place small red balls near the beak.

How to make a dragon or unicorn
You don't have to be a sculptor to mold a dragon. Try to make this craft, even if it seems that it will not work.
What is needed
- Plasticine;
- sculpting surface;
- stack.
How to do
Roll a green plasticine ball. Try to stretch one side of the mold so that it looks like an egg. Place the piece on the sculpting surface and press down slightly on top. This is the body of a dragon.
Prepare a slightly smaller ball. Roll out the shape so that you get a beveled cone. Place it on the base of the craft, and then smooth the joint between the workpieces. This will indicate the neck of the animal.
Blind a small ball into an egg-like shape. Secure the workpiece at the tip of the neck and then smooth the transition. Pull back slightly and sharpen the crown of the dragon's head.
Make a large ball, roll it into a volumetric cone with a pointed tip. This is the tail. Fasten it to the back of your body and bend it slightly.
Prepare two small and two very tiny beveled cones. The first figures are the hind legs, which are attached to the lower part of the body. The second - the upper ones - are fixed under the neck.
Fix flat circles of yellow plasticine on the paws. Mark the claws with small white dots. There are 12 of them in total.
Blind a small yellow ball. Flatten it and fix it on the dragon's belly. Draw horizontal lines on the details with a stack or toothpick.
Place two small flattened balls on the head - these are the eyes. Inside there should be black dots - pupils. If you want to show the eyelids, attach a strip of green plasticine over the details. Stack holes for the nostrils. Draw a recess for the mouth.
Fix a lot of dark green balls on the back of the dragon. The details are small at the back of the head, slightly larger in the middle of the line.
Roll out five different sized sausages. Each next one should be smaller than the previous one. Stick them together and give them a curved shape. This is the wing. Make a second of the same item and attach both of them to the craft.

How to make an airplane
This simple yet interesting craft takes very little time to create.
What is needed
- Plasticine;
- sculpting surface;
- toothpicks;
- rolling pin;
- knife.
How to do
Roll a large ball out of plasticine. Extend one side to form an avocado-like shape. Smooth out any unevenness on the surface with your fingers. This is an airplane body.
Make two small balls and then flatten them. Shape the workpieces into triangles with rounded corners. Break the toothpick in half and proceed as follows with each part: pierce the base of the triangular part with one tip, insert the other into the craft body. This will form the wings.
Blind three more triangles, but smaller. Attach them to the plane to show the tail and keel.
Roll a small piece of white plasticine with a rolling pin into a thin cake. Cut the material to make a rectangle. Fix it on the craft. You get the cockpit glass. Prepare a thin sausage from blue plasticine. It will frame a white rectangle.
Blind a white cylinder and roll out a blue cake. Wrap the first piece into the second. Slice the resulting piece into flat circles. These are portholes that need to be placed on the hull.
Attach white stripes on the wings and tail. Form another two-layer cylinder. Divide the workpiece in half. Make one tip of each piece rounded. These are engines. Use the pieces of toothpicks to fix them under the wings.
Roll two balls out of black plasticine. Flatten them and connect. Fasten flat gray circles on the sides of the mold. Make another similar piece. The result is the wheels of the chassis. Place them on the bottom of the airplane body.

How to make a turtle or other reptiles
A cute turtle will delight both a child and an adult. Large eyes make the animal especially charming.
What is needed
- Plasticine;

- toothpicks.
How to do
Roll a circle out of beige plasticine. Place it on a surface and press down a little so that the bottom is flat and the top is bulging. This is the shell. Smooth it out with your fingers.
Roll a thick sausage out of the brown material. Press it down several times against the sculpting surface so that it resembles an elongated rectangle. Cut the mold into thin slices. Attach the details to the shell.
Blind five small balls of the same size. Roll out four so that you get beveled cones. Break a toothpick. Using its pieces, attach the shapes to the bottom of the shell. These are paws.
Make a small cone to indicate the tail. Lock the blank under the carapace and slightly lift its tip. The head is a shape that resembles an elongated drop. There are small indentations in the place of the eyes.
The claws of the animal are indicated by tiny flat white circles. Each paw has three such parts. Fasten a beige strip along the contour of the shell.
Place flat circles in the grooves on the head. Inside there are black dots. Arcs made of pink plasticine are suitable for the eyelids. Use a toothpick to make holes for your nostrils. Use a knife to cut a hole for the mouth.
