The new version of the audacious rival Chrome and Firefox has received another portion of useful functions and swung to support the Internet of Things.
Vivaldi is perhaps the best alternative to browsers from Google and Mozilla. Yes, he hasn't been able to shake the web monopoly yet. But the developers do not give up and continue to add more and more new features that competitors do not have. - clear proof that Vivaldi does not think to give up without a fight.
Room lighting to match the web pages
With the new update, it received support for the Philips Hue digital backlight system. Smart bulbs synchronize with the browser and generate light to match the color of the site the user is currently on. So far, this function has no practical application. However, in the future, the lighting feature may become part of the Internet of Things.
Interactive lighting is just the first step for us. Imagine a future where new email alerts will be delivered to you with a lightbulb.

Better tabbed browsing experience
The creators of Vivaldi have done a great job to bring order to the chaos that is happening with tabs for many users. Previously, tabs could be grouped by simply dragging and dropping one onto the other. Thanks to the update, it is no longer necessary to hook each tab separately, you can group several of them at once.
It is also now possible to move tabs one by one or in a group from one browser window to another, or completely outside the window. You can see how this is done in the next video.
Reading mode
Previously, the button for this function was hidden in the browser interface. Now it has appeared where it should be: on the right side of the address bar. By activating Reading Mode, you can get rid of videos, GIFs, and other distractions on the web.
Upgrade notes
The built-in note-taking tool allows you to quickly and conveniently save text and links without leaving your browser. Users can now set up a page screenshot to be automatically added to a note.
Delta updates
A function that has almost no meaning for the bulk of users, but indispensable for those who do not have a fast Internet. Upgrading will now download only the new parts of the Vivaldi browser code.
