CNET has tested the latest Windows and macOS laptops, 2-in-1 hybrids, and Chrome OS devices.
For the test, we chose a task that was not too difficult, but not too easy for devices - playing streaming video over Wi-Fi. The winner with 13 hours and 2 minutes was the Acer Chromebook R 13.

Remarkably, the list of the 25 most autonomous laptops consists almost entirely of relatively compact models and mobile hybrids. Only Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming (20th place) stands out from the general row - this is a full-fledged gaming laptop, which, as it turned out, holds a charge perfectly in video mode.
