1. Boulevard

Ingredients

• a few ice cubes;
• 30 ml campari;
• 30 ml of red sweet vermouth;
• 40 ml bourbon or rye whiskey;
• 1 strip of orange zest

Preparation

Fill a glass with ice. Pour in campari, vermouth, and bourbon or whiskey. Stir and garnish with a strip of zest.

2. Manhattan

Ingredients

• a few ice cubes;
• 50 ml rye whiskey;
• 20 ml red sweet vermouth;
• 2-3 drops of angostura;
• 1 cocktail cherry.

Preparation

Put ice in a glass. Pour in whiskey, vermouth and angostura and mix thoroughly. Pour the drink into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with cherries. Ice is not required when serving.

• 15 ml sugar syrup;
• a few drops of egg white - optional;

Preparation

Put ice in a shaker, pour in bourbon, lemon juice, sugar syrup and egg white. Shake vigorously and pour into a glass with ice. Garnish with an orange and cherry.

4. Irish coffee

Ingredients

• 80 ml of hot coffee;
• 1 teaspoon brown sugar
• 40 ml Irish whiskey;
• 30 ml of whipped cream.

Preparation

Pour coffee into a tall glass and dissolve sugar in it. Add whiskey and stir. Place a teaspoon directly over the drink and gently pour the cream into it. This will lay them flat on top of the cocktail.

5. Old fashion

Ingredients

• 1 sugar cube;
• 2 drops of Angostura;
• a few drops of soda;
• a few ice cubes;
• 45 ml rye whiskey or bourbon;
• 1 slice of orange;

Preparation

Place a sugar cube in the bottom of a glass, add angostura and soda and muddle. Add ice, whiskey or bourbon and stir gently. Garnish with an orange and cherry.

6. Mint julep

Ingredients

• 5 sprigs of mint;
• 1 teaspoon caster sugar
• 2 teaspoons of water
• crushed ice;
• 60 ml bourbon.

Preparation

Put 4 sprigs of mint in a glass. Add powdered sugar and water and muddle. Fill a glass with ice and pour in the bourbon. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

7. Hot Toddy

Ingredients

• 50 ml of whiskey;
• 3 teaspoons of honey;
• 1 cinnamon stick;
• 200 ml of boiling water;
• a few drops of lemon juice;
• 2 slices of lemon;
• 2 dried cloves buds.

Preparation

Combine whiskey and honey and pour into two heat-resistant glasses. Add half a cinnamon stick and 100 ml of boiling water to each glass. Pour in the lemon juice and place each lemon wedge and a clove bud in glasses.

Ingredients

• 35 ml scotch whiskey;
• 35 ml amaretto.

Preparation
