Champagne is one of the main symbols of New Year's Eve, which we propose to diversify a little. If you are tired of the usual sparkling wine, then you can serve it in the form of jelly shots or accompanied by aromatic spices, herbs and fruit juices.
Champagne jelly
Ingredients:
- 21 g gelatin;
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 450 ml of champagne.
We are used to cooking, but champagne is gelatinous just as readily.
Pour 300 ml of champagne into a saucepan and add gelatin. Leave the gelatin granules to swell for about five minutes.
Over time, place the container over medium heat and cook, not boiling, until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Add the remaining champagne and sugar if the sweetness isn't enough for you.
Pour the gelatin into any small square container and refrigerate until solid.
Cut the champagne jelly into cubes and serve in glasses or bowls.
Pomegranate cocktail with champagne and rosemary
Ingredients
For a cocktail:
- a bottle of champagne;
- 500 ml of pomegranate juice;
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- ¼ glasses of pomegranate seeds;
- juice of 1 lime;
- 3 sprigs of rosemary.
For ice:
- pomegranate seeds;
- 2-3 sprigs of rosemary.
First, place the rosemary leaves and pomegranate seeds in the ice cube trays. Fill the contents of the molds with water and send them to the freezer until they solidify.
When the ice hardens, we take on the cocktail itself. Mix lime juice with sugar, pour in pomegranate juice and champagne.
Separately grind the pomegranate seeds with rosemary, transfer the resulting gruel to cheesecloth and squeeze it into a container with a cocktail.
Pour the cocktail into glasses and add ice cubes.
Apple cocktail with champagne and spices
Ingredients
For a cocktail:
- a bottle of champagne;
- 300 ml (1 ¼ cup) apple juice
- a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg.
For decor:
- 1 ¼ teaspoon cane sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
We breed spices in apple juice. If you want to get rid of the suspension, then after 10 minutes, strain the juice through cheesecloth.
Combine sugar with cinnamon. Dip the edges of the glasses in water, and then sprinkle with the sugar mixture.
Fill the glasses halfway with the spiced apple juice. Top up the remaining volume with champagne.
