Other differences between New Dawn and Far Cry 5 include a new set of companions (including a wild boar named Horatio) and a sawmill, whose shells ricochet and are able to aim at enemies themselves. Otherwise, this is still the same Far Cry, only in a new wrapper and with RPG elements that look a little strange in a purebred shooter, but don't interfere too much.

How to play Far Cry New Dawn

1. Chat with the locals

NPCs marked with an exclamation mark will reveal the location of teammates, outposts, and side missions when spoken to.

2. Don't rely on stealth partners

If you like to clear outposts secretly, then most of the human companions will only bother you: they are quickly discovered. Only Nana and the Judge know how to be invisible. And animals: enemies simply do not pay attention to them.

3. Focus on the goal

As in any other Far Cry, in New Dawn it is easy to get distracted from the intended path: either a truck with fuel will pass by, or a load of resources will land nearby. Therefore, you need to focus on what exactly you want to do.

If you are trying to find resources, then you should not miss the fallen goods and the outposts encountered. If you get to the mission, then it is better not to pay attention to the madness going on around.

4. Pass the steering wheel to your partner if you do not want to drive the car

Just mark the desired point on the map and sit in the passenger seat - your partner will take you to your seat. Unless he is a dog or a wild boar, of course.

5. Use Molotov cocktails

Usually this type of equipment is not very effective in games, but in New Dawn "Molotov" copes well even with high-level enemies.
