How to transform a hallway interior without renovation

1. Make a seating area in the hallway

Place a bench next to the door on which it will be convenient to put on shoes or just sit on the walkway. Add pillows or a blanket for comfort. Instead of a bench, you can use a low rack, an ottoman, drawers and even an old chest.

2. Arrange your shoes

To prevent your shoes from lying around the doorstep, give them a special place. You can combine this with the previous point and carefully place your shoes under a bench or in a rack. And in some seats there are special shelves for this. You can use open shoe racks and regular boxes stacked on top of each other.

If you want to hide your shoes, use closed shoe racks. They look beautiful, do not take up much space, and you can also arrange various little things on them.

3. Hang a hanger or hooks

It is not necessary to put a floor hanger or bulky closet. An original wall hanger or unusual hooks will save space and can become a real highlight in the interior of the hallway. Place clothes, bags, umbrellas, hats and some pretty little things on them.

4. Place mirrors

A mirror is an indispensable item, especially in the hallway, to take a look at yourself before leaving the house. In addition, it is able to make a small space visually wider. If you choose a mirror of a non-standard shape or in an unusual frame, then it can become the main accent in the interior of the hallway.

5. Decorate the walls

Hang your favorite photos, interesting posters, panels, inspirational inscriptions on the walls of the hallway. Upon returning home, it is pleasant to see beautiful details or to remember good moments from life.

6. Place a console table in the hallway

These tables look elegant and unusual. You can put the necessary items on them, for example, lamps and baskets with little things or cute interior things: figurines, vases, photo frames, candles.
