Notion is a new notable service with a great future

It is completely incomprehensible what developers think about when they try to create another notable service. This is in our time, when all the niches in this area have long been occupied by such giants as Google Keep, OneNote and Evernote. But the creators of Notion apparently came from another planet, so they were not afraid and released another online notebook. Very curious, by the way.

Notion is an advanced web editor that allows you to create and store various text documents, notes, to-do lists and even program code. To do this, immediately after registration, you will be prompted to create a new page and apply one of the available templates to it.

Regardless of which template you choose, it is possible to customize its appearance to your liking and add the necessary elements. To change styles, there is a drop-down Style panel at the top, where you can select the page color, font size, margin width and some other parameters.

If you want to change the properties of a specific element on the page (text, image, title, etc.), then just click on it with the mouse, and a pop-up menu will appear. Here you can change the style of the selected element, insert a link, an emoticon, a comment, and more.

To add content to the page, there is a separate panel that appears when you move the mouse cursor to the right edge of the screen. Here you need to select a text block, picture, list or file and just drag it to the desired place on the page. Everything is very simple, understandable and logical - it will take you no more than ten minutes to master the basics of working in Notion.

So, ok, the document has been created, but what to do with it now?

• First, you can simply publish it on the web as a separate web page. Any person to whom you send a specially generated link will see it.
• Secondly, it is possible to invite colleagues to this page so that they can edit it with you. This makes Notion a handy work tool for small collaborative projects.
• And thirdly, the created document can be downloaded to your computer, including in PDF format.

I did not find any restrictions on the free version, dominance of advertising or requests to pay for coffee developers. However, I immediately warned that the creators of Notion, apparently, from another planet, so it is not surprising.
