If you want to consume more protein, then check out this low-fat cottage cheese recipe. You can turn it into a delicate soufflé with just a couple of ingredients to diversify your diet.
Ingredients:
- 550 g of cottage cheese;
- 3 eggs;
- 1 tablespoon whole grain flour.
For our version of the recipe, we use eggs with yolks, but if you are on a strict diet, then exclude the yolks and add one additional protein. In addition, there is a small amount of whole grain flour in the recipe, which will help absorb excess moisture from the curd and allow the dish to retain its texture.
You can simply whisk all the ingredients together, adding salt to taste, or you can add various additives to the curd mixture. A little low-fat cheese, garlic, herbs, hot sauce, dried spices and herbs will help you modify the recipe, getting new flavors from time to time.
Beat eggs with cottage cheese and flour with a blender until smooth, or mash everything with a fork. Please note that if the cottage cheese contains a lot of whey, the excess will need to be squeezed out first.
Add the finished mixture with the selected additives, in our case, grated cheese, chopped garlic and herbs.
When choosing a shape, keep in mind that the soufflé will rise slightly during baking. Grease the selected form with a drop of vegetable oil and fill with curd mass.
Bake the dish at 200 degrees for 30 minutes. It can be served both cold and hot.
