In December last year, Pavel Durov was a contest for artists to create stickers for Telegram. The total prize pool was $ 10,000, and $ 100 was paid for each job accepted. Subsequently, the secure communication messenger acquired 40 stickers with images. With the latest Telegram update, their number will increase significantly, because now everyone who wants their work and get a permanent link for adding stickers to the messenger by other users. The downloaded sets are added to a separate section with stickers, the appearance of which was also a novelty for users of the iOS application.
It was possible to upload WebP stickers to Telegram before, and they still work. Now, artists and everyone who wants to have the opportunity to create collections of stickers for the messenger. Collections are hosted by the @stickers bot. After completing the submission procedure, you will receive a public link that you can share with your friends.
At the moment, there are eight sets available, and their number is gradually increasing.

You can follow the addition of new collections in the official group of stickers on the VKontakte social network. You can also save stickers received in messages to your collection. Click on it, go to the Info tab and select Add Stickers.
The new functionality is not yet available to all Telegram users. The official Mac client has not yet been updated, and following the sticker link will not give any result. Owners of iOS and Android devices can try out custom stickers in dialogs. The updated Telegram client can be found in the App Store and Google Play.
