Exercising is a great way to invigorate and tone up early in the day. The Wakeout app (wake up, work out) offers a new, slightly lazy take on your morning warm-up: using your bed and your favorite pillow as part of your workout.

In fact, charging from Wakeout can hardly be called a full-fledged workout - it is rather a set of quick and fairly simple movements that will help you wake up, invigorate and eventually get out of bed.

The application itself is free, there are 18 types of exercises available in the basic version. By purchasing a subscription for 129 rubles a month or 999 rubles a year, you get all 65 so-called wakeouts. Also in the Pro version, they promise the addition of new exercises and the ability to continue charging as much as you want. In the free version, it ends after three wayouts (this is about a minute and a half).

To start using Wakeout, you need to select a wake-up time in the application. It will be installed for all working days, you can add weekends as well. If your routine does not involve waking up at the same time, then you will have to set the alarm every time.

At the appointed time, the application will start waking you up. True, if the phone has a silent mode, then notifications will be exclusively in the form of vibration, it is easy not to hear them and not wake up. If you ignore the calls of Wakeout for a long time, then they stop. A traditional wake-up alarm is still more reliable.

Once you open Wakeout, you can postpone the rise or start charging right away. If you have poor eyesight, like mine, then first you still have to find glasses, since the application gives commands with text and pictures, and not sound. There is also an audio accompaniment for charging - in the form of cheerful music.

In the free version, each warm-up consists of three randomly selected exercises. The first time, two of the three wayouts I got the same, which was a little strange. The exercises are simple and fun, the approach lasts less than a minute. In the warm-up, available means, such as a pillow, are involved. Before each set, the app shows how the exercise is performed by a person in pajamas, so no knowledge of English is required.

The display will count down the seconds, and you will have to somehow keep track of the time, although this is not very convenient. Also, after each exercise, you will need to grab a phone or tablet to see how to perform the next wakeout, and press the display to continue. It gets a little off the beat, and it's tempting to turn off your phone and go to bed.

Perhaps this format is more convenient with a tablet than with a smartphone, since it is a little difficult to consider what to do and where to press, especially in the morning. On the other hand, it also helps to wake up and start thinking. Some exercises, such as the pillow squat, require getting out of bed, which is also helpful for those who need extra motivation to get out of a warm bed. Three quick runs, of course, are not enough for a full charge, but they quite help to cheer up.
