InFocus Pro is a pretty powerful organizer, which, moreover, can be temporarily downloaded for free. It combines a calendar, to-do lists, project management system, and notes. Each of the functionalities is well implemented and allows you to do all the things you need to get things organized in one application, instead of having to switch between multiple applications. Moreover, the InFocus Pro app has a few small but nice additions like speaking text in case you are driving or adding handwritten tasks.
On the main screen, you will see the icons of the five sub-applications, which we wrote about above + settings. Each of the internal applications can be viewed as stand alone or work in conjunction.
Calendar
The calendar is synchronized with the built-in calendar and resembles the usual Google calendar with a view by day, week and month. Tasks for the current day can also be viewed as a list.
To edit the current entry in the calendar, just select it and click on the "right" arrow.
To add a record, select the "+" icon in the top menu. Or select the pencil icon from the bottom menu. The pencil is used to add handwritten tasks. There are still two icons left in the bottom menu: a magnifying glass (for searching by entries in the calendar) and an icon of a sound signal for drivers who want to listen to entries in the calendar for the current day.
The top menu in the application is end-to-end. It allows you to quickly return to the main screen and switch between calendar, to-do lists, projects, and sticky notes.
To Do Lists
You can add a new task through the "+" icon in the top menu.
Each task can be attached to an existing project, specify the start and end time for the task, its priority, the degree of completion of the task (by how many percent it is completed), highlight the task with an asterisk and add up to two reminders.
Tasks can be sent to emeil. When the task is completed, just tap your finger on the task checkbox located to the left of it.
Projects
When creating a project, it is possible to add priority, folders and subfolders, to-do lists and notes to it.
Notes
Each record can be linked to a specific project. And add text, stickers, pictures and sketches to each entry.
Lists
Not a very functional thing. Here you see a list of projects and associated activities (when you click on a project).
Summary:
Design: 3 out of 5.
Usability: 3 out of 5.
For me, a slightly overloaded application, but those who like total control might like it.
Recommended:
Simple scheduling system for those who are tired of time management, goals and to-do lists
A simple task management system that is especially suitable for self-employed people. Works efficiently and saves planning time
How to complete a large project with to-do lists
To-do lists can make your job much easier and help you get more done. They are especially good for those who like to suffer from procrastination
TimeStats Pomodoro Planner - Universal Time & Project Management App
TimeStats Pomodoro Planner application combines two popular methods - Kanban and Pomodoro - and will become an excellent assistant in organizing affairs
Zenkit - Trello style project and task management
Zenkit is a convenient free service for managing tasks using the kanban method. Move cards from one column to another and track progress
Why I preferred Google Keep to all other sticky notes and to-do lists
I have tested and have at some time installed all kinds of notes and task managers. Some of them go into some kind of painful minimalism, like Clear, and some bloat into project managers like OmniFocus. Needless to say, Evernote, by far our favorite, is getting heavier and heavier and doesn't run nimbly even on the top-of-the-line Retina MBP, which I expected a new experience with this program.
