WalkJogRun running app: new routes, pace calculator and workout for those looking to run with their dog

The family of running apps is complemented by the WalkJogRun mobile app, which will suggest running routes in unfamiliar places and help you create a running base from your own routes. Of course, training analytics, taking into account all the data, and training are included.

As a bonus, there is a link to a pace calculator that will allow you to calculate the pace at which you need to run to meet your desired time!

Routes

Route base. The WalkJogRun database contains over 2 million routes created by users of the application. Routes can be filtered by distance or time, displayed as a list or viewed directly on the map. In order to see the details of the route, you just need to select a geotag (pin).

Rating. Also in the application there is a rating of running and walking routes, and you can choose the most popular one. The darker the line that shows the route on the map, the more popular it is.

Creation of a new route. If you are not satisfied with the suggested options from the database, you can create your own route. To do this, you just need to open the map and draw your route directly on it, placing control points through which the lines of your run will pass.

Slides and hills. Each route in the database is accompanied by a diagram reflecting the elevation differences that you may encounter on the way.

Other data

Pace. Sometimes you need to run at a certain pace, but it is rather inconvenient to keep track of it all the time. WalkJogRun will help you with voice prompts if you deviate from the norm. To do this, you need to set the desired pace in the workout settings, and your virtual coach will prompt you when you need to speed up or slow down.

GPS. This app has one of the most accurate GPS tracking. After your run, the data will be displayed and you will see the route line (blue line) and your run along it (red line).

Data recording. Every run you run is saved in the app. You can revisit your workouts and analyze your speed in literally every section, view the data in circles, learning about your best and not so successful moments.

Workout. There are 31 free training plans in the application base. They will prepare you for both the first 5 km and the first marathon. You can choose a plan that suits your goals and start pursuing it. One of the nice features that makes this app stand out from the others is the availability of workouts for those who want to run with their dogs! Distances for you and your four-legged pets: walks for 1, 5, 8, 10 km and running for 1, 5, 8 and 10 km. All workouts will be recorded in your calendar, and you will receive daily notifications and reminders.

Training diary. All your workouts will be recorded in your diary, allowing you to analyze your progress. The app supports all types of workouts, allowing you to take into account everything from wheelchair walks to hiking in the mountains.

Social networks. Well, what about without social networks? You can share the results of your workouts on Facebook or Twitter, as well as send them by mail to friends or a coach.

Separately, I would like to note the pace calculator on the application site! Enter the distance and the desired time - you get an estimate of the pace at which you need to run.;)
