The already extensive line of Xiaomi portable acoustics will soon be replenished with another rather curious specimen. The new Bluetooth speaker received the extraordinary name Elvis Presley Atomic Player B612 and the same design.
The column is an exact copy of vintage turntables, only it plays music not from vinyl records, but from a smartphone via Bluetooth. In the front part of the metal case there is a three-watt speaker, covered with a grille stylized as a turntable.
Analog controls are used to interact with the Atomic Player. The gadget is turned on using a large toggle switch, the volume is adjusted with a grooved wheel, and the tracks are switched by pressing the curved lever. And although with its size the column will fit even in a shirt pocket, there was a place on the case for a loop for a carabiner or a strap.
The acoustics are equipped with a Bluetooth 4.2 module for synchronization with a smartphone and other devices. In addition to music from the player and streaming services, Atomic Player can also listen to various radio stations (mostly Chinese) through a proprietary mobile application. A 400 mAh battery is responsible for autonomy. Its capacity is enough for seven hours of operation at medium volume and about three hours at maximum volume.
The column Xiaomi Elvis Presley Atomic Player B612 is now available for pre-order on the company's crowdfunding platform for 249 yuan (about 2,500 rubles). In addition to the speaker itself, the package includes a charging cable, a wrist strap and a cute case.
