Then simple ideas that you can implement with your own hands will definitely help.

Storing a bike in an apartment is often a big problem. Usually he stands in the vestibule or on the balcony, taking up a lot of space, and falls with every awkward movement somewhere nearby. It's great if there is a pantry. Often it is there that you can find this two-wheeled unit, placed vertically due to the small size of this room (which is generally not very safe and can lead to injuries). But, if there is no storage room, how and where to store the bike?

Wooden stand

If you have a large free space (part of a room, hallway, vestibule, free storage room or balcony, used exclusively for a bicycle) or a closed courtyard, then the solution clearly presented in this video will do.

This wooden structure will require a minimum of material and financial costs. And then only if the pieces of wood are purchased in the store. However, Russian realities are such that you can get them at the nearest garbage cans, on the market and many other places. In addition, the final look of the stand will depend on the choice of material and can be adapted to any interior. For example, instead of ordinary pieces of wood, you can buy balusters or MDF to match the color of the furniture in the room. And thanks to a variety of adapters and connectors, you can create a rack of any configuration, both large for storing several bicycles in a free room, or small for placement in living rooms.

Unfortunately, PVC pipes are usually connected by welding with a special expensive machine. Therefore, you will either have to contact a plumber, or use glue, for example, "Moment Montage" or some kind of epoxy resin.

Pallets come in handy too

The simplest can be a pair of wooden pallets used as a stand for large containers and other goods. They need to be placed almost at right angles to each other - a wonderful parking lot is ready.

You can find pallets in warehouses or overpasses near stores. So, despite the impressive dimensions that can be reduced with a conventional saw (albeit due to the stability of the structure), this is an excellent option. And most likely free. It has not so many disadvantages: not very attractive appearance (you can polish and paint) and large dimensions, unsuitable for small apartments.
