Just position the cursor to the left of the address, type cache: and press Enter. Google will try to load a cached version of the page, which for the most part will not differ from the original. This trick works in most popular browsers if Google is set as the default search.
At the top of the page, you will find a link to its text version. Sometimes this can make a website more enjoyable to read.
If there is no copy of the page on Google, then you can try to find it in the "Internet Archive". To do this, copy to the beginning of the address bar web.archive.org/web/ and press Enter. If even in this case the page cannot be loaded, then, most likely, it is lost forever.
