Everyone in the house has at least one stool. Someone has a minimalist Ikeevskaya Frosta, and someone has a piece of furniture inherited from his grandmother and has seen a lot. A stool helps out in different life situations, but you can't sit on it for a long time. Tough all the same.
I want to offer you one idea how you can not just decorate an ordinary stool, but make a very cozy element of the interior out of it. After that, you will definitely want to sit on it more often!
For this diy project you will need:
- stool
- 3-4 balls of thick yarn
- small pillow
We put the pillow on the stool and start wrapping it with yarn. We shake until the pillow is out of sight. Remember to secure the ends of the skein well. That's all!
As a substitute for yarn, I can also recommend trying to use cords. These are sold in craft stores alongside regular laces. Their texture is rougher, but the colors are bright and for every taste. They will not heat like yarn. Therefore, stools decorated in this way are more suitable for a summer (or garden) interior.
