The operating time declared by the manufacturer - 8 weeks with reading no more than half an hour a day - is not a myth, but a very pleasant reality, which I have tested on multiple trips. I think this is a really good reason to buy the Kindle Paperwhite for those people who spend most of their lives on long journeys.

Interface

Simplicity and clarity are exactly the words that characterize the Kindle Paperwhite in the best way. You do not need to be proficient in English to use this device effectively. A house, a light bulb, a magnifying glass - isn't there something about these icons?

Send Once, Read Everywhere

Send to Kindle is an app from Amazon that allows you to download the articles and documents you need to your Kindle Paperwhite without using cables. After installing the program, you just have to click on any document with the right mouse button and select “send to Kindle”, and the documents go first to the Amazon Cloud, and only then to your reader. The app is available for Windows and Mac.

For all the advantages of the Kindle Paperwhite over its competitors, the price of this e-book seems adequate - $ 119 for a device with Wi-Fi support, $ 179 for Wi-Fi + 3G. Amazon also offers users comfortable leather covers with magnetic closure for $ 39.99, which put the book to sleep when it is closed, similar to the Smart Cover for the iPad. Like any girl, I hesitated for a long time when choosing a cover color, but in the end I settled on classic black. It looks solid and beautiful:)

The Kindle Paperwhite is a decent mid-priced e-reader for those who love nighttime reading and long trips. If you are not confused by the inconvenience of working with PDF files and the lack of a Russian-language interface, then it may well become your choice. But to buy or not to buy is up to you.
