Inside

The platformer from the Danish studio Playdead will not leave you indifferent. This is the team's second project after the popular Limbo. As in Limbo, the player must solve puzzles using the game environment and can only move in two directions. Visually and thematically, Inside is also similar to the studio's first game: we control a boy and help him escape from a huge number of dangers in a very uncomfortable 2, 5D world with muted colors.

You will have to run a lot, jump, swim, escape from hunters and dogs, often die, but this game is worth it. The ending evokes mixed feelings (and the alternate ending does not add clarity), but in this way the creators of Inside make us think deeply and take the discussion of the underlying history beyond the game itself. Inside received high marks and really deserves attention.

Evolve stage 2

Evolve is a five-person cooperative shooter with an asymmetrical structure, where four hunters must hunt down and kill one giant monster, and the giant's goal is to quickly grow and gain strength by eating small animals. All roles can be played by live players, but you can also play in single player mode with bots.

The game was originally released in February 2015, but after the launch, the project was plagued by problems, and as a result, the developers decided to restart the game as free-to-play, seriously reworking the gameplay. Now it is more convenient, more enjoyable and easier to play: the entry threshold has been lowered and not only hardcore players can have fun in Evolve.

Since the transition to free access, the number of players has exceeded a million people. If you missed Evolve last year, now there is a good opportunity to try out the new game from the creators of Left 4 Dead.

The solus project

After several years of development by a small team, The Solus Project has finally come out of the testing and revision stage and is now officially available. In this game, you have to carefully explore a fictional planet and survive in harsh conditions.

If you want to immerse yourself in an atmospheric adventure and imagine yourself as a pioneering astronaut, try The Solus Project. But it's worth considering that in this case, the developers did the best with the atmosphere, not the plot.

Titan quest

Titan Quest is one of the best hack-and-slash RPG games. The game appeared on the PC 10 years ago, but now it has been adapted and re-released on mobile devices. The action takes place in the world of myths of the Ancient World, where you have to save everything from destruction by the titans, having visited Greece, Egypt, Babylon and China. Titan Quest is distinguished primarily by a well-thought-out role-playing system and may appeal to fans of Diablo.

Suicide Squad: Special Ops

Suicide Squad: Special Ops was released specifically for the premiere of the movie "Suicide Squad", but it turned out to be much better than most similar projects. The game has three characters to choose from: Deadshot, Harley Quinn and Diablo.

In terms of gameplay, this is a first-person shooter where you have to shoot back, fight back and burn waves of opponents in typical survival mode. Visually, for a mobile promo game, Suicide Squad looks very good.

The counter of death

This is a rather primitive game where you need to learn how to defeat opponents with two buttons - press "up" or "down" in order to reflect the blows in time. But it is precisely because of its external simplicity that The Counter of Death can be addictive. A suitable candidate for a time killer.

Life is strange

Life is Strange is one of the best games of the past year, with five episodes. This is an emotional story, an interactive movie in which your actions influence the course of events. The main character is able to rewind time in order to choose the correct version of the course of the story or open a new direction.

In addition to branching dialogues, the game has small puzzles. If you missed Life Is Strange in 2015, then it's worth trying now: the first episode of the game is now available for free.

The Humble Bundle offers three games for $ 1. These are Spec Ops: The Line, The Darkness II and Duke Nukem Forever. The first two are definitely worth getting for the price.

Spec Ops: The Line

Spec Ops: The Line is a third-person military shooter set in sandy, storm-ravaged Dubai. The main character is tasked with rescuing the survivors and finding out what happened to those who carried out the failed operation to evacuate the city.

The gameplay of Spec Ops: The Line for 2012 did not differ much from the huge number of shooters with shelters like Gears of War, and today it seems completely outdated, but for the sake of impressions from the plot, beautiful environment and atmosphere, you can return to this game, especially if you missed it four years ago.

The darkness ii

The Darkness II is a first person shooter with RPG elements. After the events of the first game, the main character Jackie Estacado became the head of a mafia clan and got involved in a war with the enemies of his family, simultaneously solving problems with the forces of Darkness and his own psyche. The player can simultaneously use firearms and abilities obtained from the Darkness.

With Spec Ops: The Line, this game combines the brutality and spirit of the B-movie. The Darkness II was also deprived of attention in 2012, but now there is an opportunity to play an unusual action game with minimal costs. It is not necessary to play the first part to understand what is happening.
