A beautiful flat tummy with graceful stripes on the sides and in the center, which so well emphasize slimness and elasticity, and, perhaps, with slightly distinguishable cubes - we know that this is real, but how quickly can girls achieve the ideal? We decided to collect stories (and press) of girls who almost reached their goal!

While watching my tape, I came across another (hundredth ?!) article on how to pump up abs with seven or ten exercises in just a month. I wondered how real it was for me, and I decided to ask two different coaches. In the end, both said that in my case, even in spite of all my preparation, I would have such a relief press … in a year.

Why a year later? Yes, because first I would need to gain weight, while exercising actively, and then start drying. The reason is the lack of building material for such cubes. In simple terms, I was too thin. I would need to eat a lot, sitting on the right diet, and not eating cakes, in parallel with this, actively train and then polish the results, adhering to a diet that would allow me to discover all this beauty.

However … However, it is impossible to get better only in the place in which it is necessary, with all the desire, therefore, together with the receipt of abs cubes, I risked becoming more voluminous almost everywhere. But everything else was fine with me, so I decided not to suffer much and dwell on what I have now.

But this is my case. I think many girls with my physique are faced with something similar, the so-called ectomorphs - thin people with thin bones, thin long muscles and a small amount of subcutaneous fat. If you are a mesomorph, then articles in the style of "Press cubes in just 30 days" may well work. Especially if you had an active lifestyle before. Endomorphs, people with a high percentage of adipose tissue, will also find it quite difficult to achieve the desired shape. Perhaps even more difficult than ectomorphs.

In any case, this goal is real for all types, it just depends on the training plan, nutrition and, of course, time.

Irina Amosova's story

Ouch! Well, just a shadow well laid down, right?

In fact, I never thought about the abs as separate from the whole body. I have a problem with muscle gain. When I came to the coach, I weighed 49-50 kg with a height of about 174 cm. He said that he needed to gain about 6-8 kg more. Now I weigh 53–54 kg, and that's it, the weight has stopped, completely. I, of course, understand that the point is simply that I cannot eat so much to gain more. I don't want to force myself to eat. It seems to me that this is somehow not very cool. At one time I drank protein shakes, but at the moment I have stopped. I started having problems with the skin on my face (not because of the protein), so I had to temporarily exclude all possible allergens. With the press, at best, it was possible to achieve this - in a tense state, of course.

I have three workouts a week. Previously, every time I did abdominal exercises additionally after training and also periodically at home, but now I generally have some period when I was a little tired and desperate in terms of training, so I decided to do ab exercises only after training my legs. It turned out about twice a week - nothing at all, in general.

There was a period when I was somehow fanatical about the press and every time I asked the coach for some new exercises, read many articles on the Internet, tried it, but nothing really worked. My coach always tells me that the only problem I have is that I am not eating enough. I train well, but then I don't give my muscles what they need. This all upsets me a little, and my hands give up, since the training is quite difficult, and the results are noticeable, probably, only to me. Of course, I did not quit training, I walk, because I like to exercise, and albeit slowly, but my body is changing for the better.

It's hard for me to say what kind of press I want in shape. I try not to be guided by the photos of other girls, since we are all so different in our body types. I just want the whole body to become more prominent and appetizing, athletic. And to be honest, I still do not understand whether my abs are noticeable at all in a relaxed state.:)
