Tap Systems has released a manipulator that is worn on the hand and acts as an input device. The gadget can function as a keyboard, mouse and gamepad.
Tap Strap can be used while sitting or standing and on any surface, depending on whether you are working in a VR headset or simply decided to try a gadget instead of your usual input means. The most suitable field of application for such a device is likely to be the VR / AR environment. The pointing device is compatible with Windows Mixed Reality, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
The gadget works via Bluetooth with computers, smartphones and VR / AR systems. The device supports mobile operating systems iOS 9 and above, Android 5 and above, as well as Windows 8 and 10, OS X Yosemite and above, and Linux Ubuntu.
To develop skills in working with Tap Strap, special games and applications have been created for iOS and Android.
The Tap Strap battery lasts for eight hours. The set comes with a case-charger, which receives power via microUSB.
Tap Strap is available per developer for $ 179.
