The new AutoDraw editor analyzes your gnarled drawing and offers a better option instead.
Applications have long been able to recognize handwriting and turn it into printed text, now it's up to drawings. It is difficult to portray something on the device screen with your finger or mouse better than a three-year-old child. Therefore, Google has developed software that makes such user drawings prettier.
You draw any shape in the AutoDraw editor, and he tries to guess what it is. Recognition speed is high: after a couple of seconds, thumbnails of pictures appear in the Do you mean line, from which you can choose the appropriate one.
Of course, the tool is not perfect and sometimes offers options that are far from what you were drawing. But in most cases AutoDraw copes well with the task, recognizing absolutely dissimilar objects depicted.
You can draw one shape or line, or several, such as a bicycle or a car. Drag the pictures suggested by the program across the field, resize them, fill them with color and save for future use.
Behind the scenes, an automated bot is working, which, thanks to artificial intelligence and creative machine learning, recognizes images and matches them among the drawings of artists and illustrators.
A similar technology has already been used in one of Google's AI experiments called Quick, Draw. But it is designed just for collecting the base of drawings and training the algorithm to recognize what the user has drawn. Quick, Draw is a fun game in which the machine tries to guess what you are drawing in 20 seconds. AutoDraw goes further: it is a complete editor in which you can create cards and invitations, as well as just draw for fun.
The web tool is free. It can be used on smartphones, tablets and computers. Try it, but keep in mind that AutoDraw and Quick, Draw are addictive.
