Remember to be hygienic and don't piss others off.
In the gym
1. Always bring a towel with you. Use it when exercising on the machines, even if you don't think you are sweating much. Wipe down your equipment.
2. Avoid using strong scents. Show respect by choosing deodorants that are invisible to others.
3. Do not "book" equipment: do not leave your towel or bottle of water on them. This can be confusing for those looking to exercise.
4. Do not use the equipment for a long time. Made an approach - free up space and give the opportunity to work out for others.
If you are sitting on the simulator and talking on the phone, know: this pisses everyone off.
5. Leave your cell phone in the locker room. Take it with you only if you are waiting for an urgent and important call. The same applies to loud conversations with others: if you want to communicate, do not disturb others.
6. Practice - clean up after yourself. Put the dumbbells in place, hang the pancakes where they were before you.
7. Keep your distance. Do not get close to the person who is doing the exercises, especially with weights - he may inadvertently hurt you. Do not block others from looking in the mirror: During many exercises, it is important to see that the technique is being followed correctly.
8. Don't bother with questions and advice. If you're a beginner, ask your gym instructor to give you a quick tour. But do not ask the "oldies" for details of how and how much they exercise and what protein they consume. Especially if they are reluctant to communicate.
9. Even if you consider yourself a super pro, do not give advice left and right when you are not asked to. But there are exceptions to this rule.
If you see that a person is doing the exercise incorrectly and this can lead to health problems, it is better to tell him about it.
10. Treat the bar with respect. In the gym, it is not customary to step over it. Especially when someone wants to lift it. Also, do not throw the barbell after approaching the floor with a crash. This is appropriate for a competition, but not for a fitness club.
In the pool
11. Do not occupy the tracks intended for individual or children's training. It is better to immediately check with the instructors where exactly you can swim in accordance with your level of training.
12. Remember: in the pool - as well as on the road - right-hand traffic. Follow this rule regardless of whether you are swimming in a circle or along a path.
The one who is swimming next to you must be overtaken on the left side.
13. Always shower before going to the pool. And there are no exceptions!
14. Try to get into the water and swim without splashing others. "Bombs" are good for a beach holiday.
15. Relax by the side of the boat so as not to interfere with others' swimming.
In the locker room and shower
16. Minimize naked walking around the locker room. You may have a chic figure, but this is not a reason to blow-dry your hair while standing naked in front of the mirror.
17. Don't take up a lot of bench space with your gym bag. Especially if the club is rush hour and there are a lot of people. The “I came first” argument does not work here. Respect others.
18. Avoid shaving, waxing and other intimate shower procedures. They are best done at home or in a beauty salon.
19. If you go to the pool or sauna, do not use the shower stall: do not leave your gel, washcloth and other accessories there.
20. When you enter the dressing room, say hello. This is a simple act of courtesy, but everyone will be pleased.
