The first major update to Google's fitness app since the I / O conference brought a ton of new features and design changes.
Redesign
Now the application looks more colorful, and much more information is displayed on the main screen. The graphs have become more visual. The usual statistics in the form of a circle, from which you can tap to open the desired element, have been replaced by more informative individual elements on the main page of Google Fit.
The presentation of daily statistics has also changed. Previously, they were hidden in a pie chart and you had to tap to see them. They are now shown at the top of the screen.
Chronology
After the update, the current progress is displayed as a line, the length of which corresponds to the percentage of "pass / fail". The caption below it explains the achievements in a little more detail.
Customizable goals
One of the biggest changes to Google Fit is the ability to customize your workout goals or individual day goals in more detail. Previously, only a few daily metrics were available.
Now goals can be configured for different types of activity, and their planning can be carried out for the day, week or month. If you set multiple goals, all of them will be displayed on the main screen.
Resizable widget
In previous versions of the application, the widget was 1 × 1. Now you can stretch it. In addition, he is able to display the current progress.
Work on Android Wear
The version for Android Wear has also changed its design: an updated informative dial, the ability to quickly change the type of activity and easy access to detailed statistics for each type of activity.
Now version 1.57 of the application is available for residents of Russia and the CIS as a file on APKMirror.
