We waste years trying to save hours. We do not allow ourselves to relax and be lazy. However, laziness may well be the secret of success.
1. You are not missing out on new opportunities
When was the last time you felt comfortable doing nothing? Not an hour or a day, but with no plans at all for the near future? Too often, we feel like we need to always be busy and diligent. And we panic when asked what we are working on now, when we are not generally working on anything.
Have you taken on a project just so as not to sit idle? How many good opportunities have you missed because this project was taking up all of your time?
If you allow yourself to do nothing or do less, then you can tackle something really worthy of your attention when the opportunity arises.
Moreover, this is the only way you will have time to look for these opportunities. And if you're always busy, then just miss your chance.
2. You don't waste time trying not to waste time
We value every minute of our time and try to do as much as possible in a day. But often because of this we do not notice really worthwhile opportunities. Remember if there were any offers in your life that you turned down simply because you did not have enough time?
Do not be afraid to spend hours and days on some idea if it seemed important and worthy to you. The next time something piques your interest, take the time to get the project on its feet or to make sure that the idea doesn't work out in practice.
3. You only do what really matters
Let laziness be your filter. Then you will take only those ideas that are very interesting to you. When was the last time you asked yourself, would you be sad if a project doesn't come true? As you contemplate your next sentence, ask yourself this question before you say yes.
