Set a limit for yourself and your child, disable unnecessary background applications and find free Wi-Fi on the map.
The Datally app was introduced by Google last year. It is designed to control the traffic consumption of your mobile device. With its help, according to the developers, each user on average was able to reduce costs by 21%. It's like you use your ISP from Monday to Thursday as usual, and on Friday it's free.
The new version of Datally introduces four new features to help you control your data transfer even more closely.
Guest Mode
Now, even if you let a child or a friend use your smartphone, you don't have to worry that it will exhaust your entire tariff plan. It is enough just to activate the new "Guest Mode" for this case and set how much data you allow to consume.
Daily limit
Many providers set aside a fixed amount of megabytes per month. In order not to worry that you will spend them in a couple of days, take advantage of the new "Daily limit" opportunity. When the threshold you set is reached, a notification will appear. Then it's up to you to decide whether to continue using the mobile Internet or save megabytes for the future.
Unused applications
Did you know that 20% of mobile data is used in the background by applications that have not been launched for more than a month?
The new Datally feature tracks these apps and generates a separate list of them. With one click, you can completely disable background data transfers or delete any of them altogether.
Free Wi-Fi Map
Previously, Datally listed nearby free networks simply as a list. Now they are displayed on the map, which makes it easier and faster to find them. Enjoy free access to cafes, restaurants, lounges and other public places to avoid wasting precious megabytes.
The Datally app is available as a free download from the Google App Store. The functions described above will become available in a new version, the distribution of which should start soon.
