Summer premieres

1. Too old to die young

The famous visionary director Nicholas Winding Refn, who created "Drive" and "The Neon Demon", decided to go beyond full-length cinema and shot a 10-episode project. The plot tells about the detective of the Los Angeles Police Department (Miles Teller) and the criminal world of the city, where assassins turn into samurai.

2. Pearson

While the popular "Force Majeure" is out for the final ninth season, the authors present a spin-off of the series dedicated to the talented lawyer Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres). The new series will tell about the professional and personal life of the heroine after moving to Chicago.

3. Guys

Preacher creators Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are releasing another project based on the comics of Garth Ennis. The plot tells about a world inhabited by superheroes. True, many defenders of the world have long become conceited and themselves have become the main danger for ordinary people. And so the CIA is assembling a special squad, which must keep track of the most dangerous superheroes and, if necessary, destroy them.

4. Four weddings and one funeral

Streaming service Hulu relaunches the famous story in a miniseries. The plot partly repeats the events of the 1994 film of the same name and tells about a group of friends, their communication at weddings and funerals. Interestingly, the star of the film Andie MacDowell will also look into the project, but she will play a new role.

The trailer hasn't been shown yet, so the video features a reunion of the classic cast at a charity event.

5. 90210

And another reunion that could be a great irony for the era of relaunches. The classic cast of the acclaimed TV series Beverly Hills 90210 is reassembled into a six-part project. The actors will play as if exaggerated versions of themselves: people who met again to take part in the filming of a remake of their own series.

The new episodes will tell about a taxi driver who took his client hostage, a meeting of two college friends, and a girl who bought a robot with the voice of her favorite pop star. As always, the stories will focus on the impact of technology on human life.

7. The Handmaid's Tale

After the finale of the first season, the lives of the main characters change dramatically. In addition, Perry Wright's mother (played by Meryl Streep) comes to town to take care of her grandchildren. The third season of one of the most famous science fiction series will feature some matured characters. During the 1985 summer vacation, they are improving their personal lives. And again they encounter monsters from the "reverse side".

11. Force majeure

The already mentioned legal drama about lawyer Harvey Specter and his uneducated partner Mike Ross is coming to the final ninth season. It will consist of 10 episodes and should close all main storylines, and the authors promise the return of almost all the important actors involved in the project.

12. Veronica Mars

The teenage drama about a girl detective returns with the old cast after a long hiatus. The original series aired from 2004 to 2007, and in 2014, director Rob Thomas released a full-length sequel to the story.

And now the matured Veronica Mars is again taking up investigations. The series will again be starred by Kristen Bell and directed by Rob Thomas.

13. Orange is the new black

The long-running series about a women's prison is nearing completion. Despite the finale of last season, the main character Piper Chapman will still appear in the project, and the audience will be told about the fate of each of the inhabitants of Litchfield Prison.

14. Terror

The series "Terror" comes out in the format of an anthology, and therefore the new season will not be connected in any way with the previous story. He will tell about Chester Nakayama, who lives in the American camp for the Japanese during the Second World War. He tries to make sense of the supernatural power that is killing members of the American-Japanese community.

15. Mind Hunter

The second season of the anthology, based on true events, will tell about the investigation of the crimes of the maniac Charles Manson and the study of his cult. Interestingly, the lead role will be played by Australian actor Damon Herriman ("Candy"). He also played Manson in Quentin Tarantino's new film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
