He walks with the men in the sea, catches fish, and plays the lottery every weekend. Ivan dreams of a new hearing aid, a yacht and a trip to Turkey. But when he wins, he easily pushes his desires aside for the sake of the dream of the singer Amina (Olga Sutulova), with whom he fell in love immediately and forever.

“Voice of the Sea” is the second short film in the film project “Ivans Remembering Kinship”. As in the first Goodbye America movie, the script is based on the fate of a real person.

Last summer, Uncle Vanya invited all Ivans, Vano, Johans, Jonas, Ivangai to share their stories. The organizers of the competition wanted to show how and how ordinary people live. It turned out that among us there are many heroes worthy of a movie.
