Imagine two completely different worlds. One is close to nature and dangerous, the other is completely robotic and serene. From the window of a house of one world, trees and birds are visible, and from the window of another - a quiet and deserted space. Which world is closer to you? Which one would you like to live your whole life in?

In Broken Age, two worlds will truly appear before you. Shea lives in one of them, and Vella lives in the other. And do not think that it is she who lives in peace and quiet. Literally from the first minutes of the game, they try to feed it to the monster Mog-Chotra, who is presented with the most beautiful girls of the village as a sacrifice every year.

Shay, on the other hand, lives on a spaceship, and his life is reminiscent of Groundhog Day. He is taken care of by artificial intelligence in the form of mom and dad. He spoon-feeds the boy and pampers him with plush attractions. But one day everything will not go according to the usual scenario. Falling from a great height, Shay will meet below …

But we will not reveal all the details of the game. Before us is an amazingly beautiful quest, I'm not afraid of the word, in the best traditions of LucasArts. And this is no coincidence, since the author of the game is Tim Shafer, who has worked in this company for over 10 years and has had his hand in such projects as Full Throttle and Grim Fandango.

An original, unlike anything else atmosphere, funny characters and colorful worlds - a real fan of quests is unlikely to pass by such a treasure. The controls in the game are clear and simple, all active zones are highlighted if you click on them or bring an item you have to them. If you miss one of these areas, just click on the eye-shaped icon located in the upper right corner, and everything will immediately become clear.

During the game, I have not come across a single riddle that would have an illogical solution. But not all of them could be quickly guessed, despite the apparent simplicity. Sometimes, in order to go further through the plot, it was necessary to talk to the characters and only after that get the necessary item.

Not without a fly in the ointment. Unfortunately, there are no Russian subtitles in the game. And no matter how I tried to listen to the dialogues of the characters, I did not always understand them. Therefore, at some point, I gave up and turned on French subtitles. If you are fluent in English, you will not have any problems playing through the game. Otherwise, you will have to think carefully before purchasing it, because the amount at stake is rather big.

The first part of the game ended at the most interesting place, and we were left waiting for the continuation of this unusual story. Now we will finally find out how it ended!
