Formed from former Google and Nokia employees, Mobvoi already has experience in wearable electronics. After a successful Kickstarter campaign last year, the Ticwatch 2 went into mass production and was in high demand. This year, Mobvoi is going to launch two models on the market at once.

The new Ticwatch E and Ticwatch S received Android 2.0 as the operating system, becoming even more attractive in the eyes of users. Both models are based on the MTK MT2601 chip, have a round OLED display with a diagonal of 1.4 inches and a resolution of 400 × 400 pixels, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory.

The set of sensors is standard and includes a heart rate monitor, accelerometer, gyroscope and GPS. For communication, the new Ticwatch has Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11n. According to the creators, the built-in 300 mAh battery is enough for two days of operation. In addition, the watch has received IP67 water protection.

The difference between the two models lies in the GPS antenna, design and available color options. The younger Ticwatch E (from the word Express) have a built-in antenna, while the older S (Sport) version is more powerful and is located in the strap. Because of this, the Ticwatch S is slightly heavier: 45.5 vs 41.5g.

The Ticwatch E and S can now be ordered on Kickstarter for $ 119 and $ 139, respectively. Mobvoi's competitors are asking for two or even three times more for models similar in functionality.
